One week left of school than on to 2 weeks of relaxing.

I got a sore throat...but since I get one almost every two months, I got used to having to not talk for a day or two...

I don't even have a 3 day weekend. But that could be because my private university doesn't do holidays, except for the major ones.

Well lab was a bust, the plants were doing to well so we figured we need to come in tonight to keep the time the same... 2 hours of nothing...

That is pretty lucky imo... almost like you are having a school with trimesters instead of semesters...

/sigh, lab is bad atm. I don't have to go back, the other 2 guys are doing it tonight. But the plants don't want to photosynthesize for us atm. >.>

Well we are having trimesters xD. We have 3 : august-end of october ; november-february and march-somewhere in may. June is the exams period for those in 9th, 11th and 12th grade and July is when the results are given.

Next week is going to be annoying...we have a test everyday except Tuesday (but it's an annoying day this year) and Friday.

don't feel bad

since the begening of my med tech course weve been having 2 exam every week, well except for the first week of course. and its only gonna get worse >.< IV and Blood draws are coming up in a few weeks. and guess who the guinei pigs are gonna be....yeah...classmates :s by the end of it will be looking like massive drug users

I cant be a guinea pig for blood drawing. I always tend to pass out when they take a vial of blood. Doctors had to draw my blood for a blood exam once and it wasnt pretty, I passed out just before they could even get half way. I got tons of animal crackers and hersey bars and fruit punch out of it though

But ya thats my excuse for not donating blood. My mom tells me that my grandfather had the same condition, he would pass out when they would draw out blood from him.

sounds like my hubby...but he passes out if he watches them draw blood from (or poke ) me! let alone having it done to him....which is why he doesnt go in for regular check ups..
not much else going on here....
red your school system sounds a lot like japan...they start in april and go thru july, august is off cause its obon and just tooo dang hot to do anything, then september thru december and then mid january to mid march ...then only 2 + weeks off and start over---they even give HOMEWORK between grades! (exception is elem to jh, jh to shs...only because they dont know which schools the kids are going to go to...otherwise they would!).

glad that whole thing is done for me, no need to think about school work or when school is or....etc, though I do know when the kiddies are back in school around here since its much quieter during the day

School in Tahiti :

Starts near the middle of august.
5 weeks then 1 week off in September.
5 weeks then 2 weeks off in the end of October (1rst trimester ends).
5 weeks (2nd trimester starts) then christmas vacations (~1 month).
5 weeks then 1 week off in February (2nd trimester ends).
5 weeks (3rd semester starts) then ? weeks off in March (don't remember if it's 1 or 2 weeks).
5 weeks then a "week" off in May (last year there was a lot of public holiday in May, so there was no week off...) (end of the 3rd semester).

For those in 6th to 9th grade, school continues until mid to end of June. (Those in 9th grade have the Diplôme National du Brevet to pass a week after school has ended).
For those in 10th grade, school ends before the beginning of June.
For those in 11th and 12th grade....I don't know how it works xD. I think that because of thebac, they get some time off before to prepare for it.

Luckily none of our teacher give us homework to do during July...mostly because they might not be our teacher the following year.

Blood drawing doesn't really bother me because they can't missed my veins, unless they are blind...

We have lights that are used to help photosynthesis. We did get results from what I heard, which is good...

I hate getting blood drawn, when I had my surgery when I was 10 they drew blood every day for 5 days. I hate getting blood drawn now...

Can't wait for Gears of War 2. Going to the midnight release just to get that gold gun.

Bed now... More work tomorrow...

Luckily the only traumatic experience is my childhood was with a piece of raw fish...and since I didn't like to eat fish back then, it doesn't really bother me now.

So many good games coming in the following months...why can't I play them (unless I catch a plane next week, which I don't really want to because then "some persons" may want to come with me...) ?
